We are excited to announce that one of our Westlake Village Mission: Renaissance students, Kelsey Murphy made the finals in the House of Blues Art Contest. Here is more proof that Mission: Renaissance students love their art classes.
Laura, our West L.A. Program Director informed us that one of her students who had recently moved to San Diego, really missed her art classes. The student’s mom called and scheduled her daughter for 3 Saturday classes. They got up at 6 am and drove up to our West L.A. studio!

Mission: Renaissance Palisades student Nicole Anthony entered in the “Drawing Us Together” art contest. She was not only chosen to be exhibited at the House of Blues on Sunset, but also won 2nd place out of over 250 kids in her age division (6th -8th), she’s in 6th. They only awarded a 1st and 2nd place so she was presented on stage and took home a Certificate as well as a $200.00 art supply Gift card.
